Our client has a need for a Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to help manage financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. This FP&A Manager will work closely with the Director of Finance and other senior managers. This role will is a unique opportunity to be involved with every aspect of the business and provide continuous access to executive management. Will report to the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify financial issues and opportunities to optimize results and to drive/influence management decisions.

  • Prepare and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management and regional management

  • Build and maintain effective business partnerships within and across organizations

  • Develop and improve upon financial planning processes ensuring transparency of planning assumptions and actual performance to the functional areas

  • Prepare variance analysis to identify and explain variances to budget

  • Perform ad hoc modeling and analysis

  • Respond to P&L inquiries from budget owners

  • Participate in M&A activities

  • Update and track key operating indicators



Who Will Be a Great Fit?  

  • 6+ years FP&A experience, either supporting a business unit or in a corporate FP&A organization

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze financial statements and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts

  • Ability to develop and update complex financial models

  • Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement

  • Understanding of accounting concepts (revenue recognition concepts, expense timing, capitalization policies, etc.)

  • Superior leadership skills with enthusiasm, initiative and a passion for results

  • Demonstrated leadership in strategy development

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills, experience and desire to work cross-functionally

  • Strong Excel experience (pivots, look-ups, logic functions, etc.) and Hyperion experience

  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience would be a plus.
