CVOR Surg Tech

Are you a skilled Surgical Technologist with a passion for cardiovascular care? Join our dedicated team in Louisville, Kentucky, where you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care. As a CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will work in a dynamic environment, handling complex cardiovascular conditions and utilizing advanced medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinician/Patient Ratio: Maintain a 1:1 clinician-to-patient ratio to ensure personalized and focused care.

  • Patient Care: Manage and care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including:

    • Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)

    • Dissections

    • Cardiogenic Shock

    • Heart & Lung Transplants

    • Valve Replacements

    • Ventricular Assist Device Insertions

    • Complex Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)

    • Artificial Heart Transplantation

  • Device/Assessment Management: Operate and manage advanced medical devices such as:

    • Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)

    • Impella

    • Balloon Pump

    • Vasopressor Management & Titration

    • Rapid Transfusion

    • Open Chest Defibrillation

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Surgical Scrub or in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is preferred.
